Myriam Solar in AASG: Destruction and cognitive complexity in terrestrial gastropods







The Australian Animal Studies Group Online Gallery & Environmental Futures Centre, Graffith University presents in the 4th Biennial Australian Animal Studies Group Conference, 10-13 July 2011 engaged in Animals People - a Shared Environment , Brisbane(Australia) some of the most exciting new works in Animal Studies emerged from the Fine Arts in the intersection with the biological Science.

In this event I present " Destruction and cognitive complexity in terrestrial gastropods and human interaction" with a graphic sequence of the process of destruction of the shell of the snail by a predator, the reconstruction of the damaged zone and the cognitive complexity in the flight of the prey to produce a new emergent event: its survival.
